Tavalyi lemezbemutató turnéjuk folytatásaként, a nyugat-európai koncertsikerek után ismét Romániába látogatott a zenekar. A magyar jazz trió szeptemberben Londonban adott nagysikerű koncertet, mostani turnéjukon ezt az anyagot mutatták be, szintén nagy sikerrel.

A Trió 2007-ben alakult. Tagjai a magyar jazz élvonalába tartoznak, pályájuk során jelentős szakmai sikereket értek el: Sárik Péter és Frey György 2004-ben Emerton-díjat kaptak, Berdisz Tamás szintén abban az évben átvette az Artisjus kitüntetését, 2008-ban pedig a Magyar Ütőhangszeres Kultúráért Alapítvány Arany Dobverő Díját.
Sárik Péter szerzeményei (Ways, Stream, In the street) több alkalommal döntőbe jutottak az USA és az Egyesült Királyság legnagyobb dalszerző versenyein. Legutóbb 2008-ban az amerikai székhelyű International Songwriting Competition dalversenyen az "I'll catch you" című dala harmadik lett jazz kategóriában és a közönségdíj kategóriájában is. Péter 2007-ben a Jazzy rádió dalversenyén elnyerte a "Legjobb szólista" elismerést.
Műsorukban mindhármuk szerzeményeit játsszák, zenéjük dallamos, ritmikus és rendkívül változatos. Koncertjeik sikerei és a közönség lelkes visszajelzései alapján mindenki számára élvezetes vérbeli jazz.

MIRCEA TIBERIAN - born in Cluj, Romania, in 1955, spent his childhood and adolescence in Sibiu (South Transylvania) where he made his debut at the International Jazz Festival in 1974. He currently lives in Bucharest. Along the years he has performed the world over with such musicians as Larry Coryel, Tomasz Stanko, Herb Robertson, John Betsch, Lisle Ellis, Maurice de Martin, Chris Dahlgren, Horst Nonnenmacher, Adam Pieronczyk, Theo Jorgensmann, Nicholas Simion and outstanding Romanian jazz artists such as Johnny Raducanu, Anca Parghel and Dan Mandrila. As a pianist and composer Mircea Tiberian has been working in the cross-over field of Jazz, Improvisation and New-Music in diverse setups and casts. The work of the last 20 years is documented 19 albums. Mircea Tiberian is a doctor in music and teaches at the National University of Music in Bucharest coordinating the Jazz Department, which he set up in 1991. Awards: Romanian Composers Union Award (1990, 1996, 2000, 2003) Romanian Musician of the Year Award (2003, 2007, 2008) The Enescu-Brancusi Scholarship granted by the Romanian Cultural Institute (2006). MARIA RADUCANU was born on the 3rd of November 1967, in Husi, Vaslui County, Romania. She studied the violin and the guitar. And the French Literature at the A. I. Cuza University from Iasi and at the University of Bucharest. At the same time, between the 1984-1993, Maria Raducanu participated at all the major youth festivals in the country, as a songwriter and interpreter of jazzy-music. She was awarder the highest prize distinctions, welcomed by the public and praised by the press. After a 7 years break, starting with January 2000, Maria appeared again in the club and festival life of Bucharest and of the country, imposing herself as an artistic presence of first range (as far as one can talk about recognition when one isn’t creating a music of market-place.)
LISLE ELLISis active as a musician - acoustic & electronic, visual artist, lecturer in creative process and jazz history. As a bassist/composer/improvisor he has performed and recorded with many of the world's foremost muscians in the field of jazz, improvised, creative and new and experimental musics. Currently living in New York City, Ellis leads his own ensemble whose music often reflects his interest in electronic music and its applications in improvisational contexts as well as his ongoing relationship with the acoustic bass.

American jazz pianist, arranger and composer born in Romania. Korossy is the first who combined the Romanian folklore music with American jazz rhythms ,and the creator of the “free style” in Romanian jazz, but he is also the one who arranged in jazz and performed worldwide “The Rhapsody no.1” written by great George Enescu.
Jancy Korossy it was considered “the most authentic jazz pianist in Europe” (according to famous jazz promoter Willis Connover), and is up until nowadays considered and undeniable as the most valuable and unrivaled jazz musician coming from Romania.
Jancy Korossy performed and recorded with artists like: Milt Jackson, Woody Herman, Phil Woods, Percy Heath, Ray Brown, Zoot Sims, Lee Konitz, James Martin, Connie Kay and many others... 2006 - Awarded with the highest distinction, as a “Comandor” by the President of Romania, as a recognition for the special achievements in promoting the Romanian culture abroad, and the unique developments of folclorique music in jazz.
2002 - Awarded with the prize of “The most valuable musician from diaspora”, by the National Radio of Romania.
1975 - Awarded by President Jimmy Carter, with the distinction as a “Lieutenant Governor's award of Excellence” for extraordinary cultural merit in jazz music.

Nicolas Simion az egyik legsokoldalúbb román jazz-zenész. 1959-ben született Dumbravita faluban, zenei tehetsége korán megmutatkozott, tanulmányait Brassóban kezdte el, majd Bukarestben folytatta. Középiskolai tanulmányai során egyre nagyobb vonzódást érzett az improvizált zene iránt és 18 éves korában megalakította első jazz együttesét Mircea Tiberian zongoristával és Dan Mandrila szaxofonossal Opus 4 néven. Számos sikeres hazai fellépés és Kelet-Berlin, meg Varsói jazz fesztiválon való részvétel után 1989-ben külföldre távozott. Jó pár évig Bécsben élt, ahol helyi és nemzetközileg olyan elismert jazz zenészekkel játszott együtt, mint: Art Farmer, Leo Wright, Idris Muhammad, Jim Pepper, Harry Sokal, Christian Muthspiel. Első lemezét Fekete Tenger címmel 1992-ben készítette el. Azóta több mint 20 saját lemeze jelent meg és több száz sikeres koncert tette jól ismertté a nevét a világ jazz palettáján olyan zenészegyéniségek mellett, mint Mal Waldron, Lee Konitz, Tomasz Stanko, Anatolij Vapirov, Archie Shepp, Lantos Zoltán és a kolozsvári születésű, amerikában élő Jancsy Kőrössy. Simion zenei sokoldalúságát igazolják kortárs nagyzenekari művei is.

A budapesti előadók a hazai és nemzetközi jazz illetve folk élet szakmailag elismert, meghatározó résztvevői, játékmódjuk a kamarazenélés hagyományaira épül.
Eichinger Tibor és Csurkulya József gitár – cimbalom duója különleges párosítás, egyedi szín a magyarországi jazz palettán. Előadásukban ismert jazz szerzeményeket adnak elő olyan szerzőktöl, mint Miles Davis, Pat Methenyvagy Astor Piazzola.
Bágyi Balázs és P. Szabó Dánielduója egyedülálló produkció az ethno-jazz és világzene területén. Repertoárjuk közép-kelet-európai (főleg magyar és román) népzenét dolgoz fel, jazz és szabadzenei elemekkel fűszerezve. Több éves együttműködésük (Bágyi Balázs Quartet) során a formáció 2007-ben alakult, bemutatkozó lemezük 2009-ben jelent meg Duola címmel.
The drum kit - dulcimer duo of Balázs Bágyiand Dániel P. Szabó is a unique colour and an imcomperable project in ethno-jazz and world music.
They are both remarkable artists of the jazz and folk music scene in Hungary and internationally as well. The way they play is based on the most beautiful heritage of chamber music. Their repertoire consists of Eastern-European, mostly Hungarian and Romanian folk, combined with the elements of jazz and improvised music. After their long time collaboration in the Balázs Bágyi Quartet and several success in their own careers the duo was formed in 2007.
2009. szeptember 26-án szombaton 21-órától az Old Man's Pubban jó hangulatú, igazi professzionális koncertet tartott a budapesti In Line zenekar, akik egy erdélyi turnén vettek részt, Kolozsvárt, Marosvásárhelyt és Szekelyudvarhelyt is érintve.

About IN LINE GROUP The In Line Band is one of the most successful contemporary jazz band in the hungarian jazz scene since 1989. The band was founded by bass playerPal Vasvari and saxophonist Gyula Csepregi in 1989. The Group released over 15 CD's from 1989 to 2001. In 1999 the band made their most successful project called "Twin Lines Project" with jazz world stars: Mike Stern on guitar, Alex Acuna on drums, Russell Ferrante on Keyboards and Dave Samuels on Marimba and Vibraphone. Since 2001 the two band leaders made solo records and projects than the band reunited in 2008. In 2009 they recorded their self-titled new project with Miklos Birta, Peter Szendőfi, Marci Vasvari and Marton Sütő.
